Error message

There is a problem with your e-invoice to the Ministry of Economic Affairs. First, check the order number.

• Make sure the order number is correct and use the number exactly as it appears in the order letter.
• If you do not have the order letter to hand, contact your customer's contact person and ask for the correct order number.
• Please note: an error in the order number (such as spaces, dots, or other characters) can cause problems.

Make sure the order number is in the correct place on the invoice (the ‘OrderReference’ field). If you need help, please contact the supplier of your accounting package or your Peppol service provider.

Check the OIN (Organization Identification Number) used. If the OIN and order number are correct, contact your contact person at the Ministry of Economic Affairs.

If everything is correct, you can resubmit the e-invoice.

A notification has been received about your e-invoice.

• Your e-invoice complies with the standard and has been forwarded to your customer at the federal government.
• Unfortunately, your customer is currently unable to process the e-invoice. This may be because their system is temporarily down, for example.

Please contact the department of the federal government that placed the order with you. They will be able to assist you further.

Find government organisation

• Enter your customer's OIN in the ‘PartyLegalEntity’ field.
• This OIN ensures that the e-invoice is sent to the correct department of the national government.
• Please note: do not use a Chamber of Commerce or VAT number. The OIN starts with the code ‘0190’.

Example:

• Name: Ministry of ABC
• OIN: 0190 followed by the unique number, for example 00000001234567890000

If you do not know how to enter the OIN in the correct field, please contact:

• The supplier of your accounting package, or
• Your Peppol service provider.

Once you have entered the OIN correctly, you can resend the e-invoice.

• Your IBAN must be entered in the e-invoice. This is the account number to which the payment must be made.
• Enter your IBAN in the ‘PayeeFinancialAccount’ field.

If everything is correct, you can resend the e-invoice.

• For automatic processing, the order number must be entered in the correct field. The order number should be entered in the ‘OrderReference’ field in the e-invoice.
• Copy the order number exactly as it appears on the order form. If you do not have this to hand, ask your customer's contact person for the order number.

Find government organisation

• Check that you have entered the number correctly. Using spaces, periods, or other characters can cause problems.
• Other terms for the order number include: purchase order number, commitment number, order number, or reference number.

If you need help entering the order number in the correct field, please contact:

• The supplier of your accounting package, or
• Your Peppol service provider.

You can resend the e-invoice.

• The total file size of your e-invoice may not exceed 12 MB. Attachments may not exceed 9 MB. The remaining space is needed for the e-invoice itself and technical files.
• If you have added a PDF version of the invoice, please remove it. The recipient can create a readable invoice from the e-invoice themselves.
• Try to reduce the size of attachments by saving them in a lower resolution or a different file type.
• Discuss with your client whether you can send the attachments in a different way, for example via email (as a ZIP file) or a document exchange tool.
• Once you have made these changes, you can resubmit the e-invoice.
